DAP to Present its SmartBond Range of Construction Adhesives at International Builders Show

BALTIMORE -- DAP Products Inc., a leader in the home improvement and construction products industry, will demonstrate its revolutionary new product line, DAP SmartBond, during the International Builders Show (IBS) February 4-6, 2014 in Las Vegas at Booth SS210. For the first two days of the show, Tom Silva, renowned contractor and This Old House® contributor, will be on hand to show attendees how SmartBond construction adhesive provides 8x more coverage and faster application than traditional adhesives.

"Contractors, builders, landscapers, distributors - anyone with an interest in building and landscaping is going to be blown away by DAP SmartBond at IBS this year," said Mike Gorman, DAPs Vice President of Marketing. "SmartBond is a dynamic polyurethane adhesive that cures fast and develops an incredibly strong, durable, permanent bond to most building materials. Tom Silva and the DAP team will be hosting interactive SmartBond demonstrations throughout the show, which will focus on SmartBonds ability to save subfloor and landscaping contractors time and money, and reduce fatigue. Individual demo stations will also allow curious attendees to try SmartBond for themselves, and to calculate the savings comparison between SmartBond and their current construction adhesive.

In addition to SmartBond demonstrations, DAP will also offer show attendees a chance to win one $500 American Express gift card in the DAP Smart Money Sweepstakes. Entries will be available at DAPs booth S2210, and the grand prize winner will be drawn at 3PM on the shows final day.

SmartBond is currently available in The Home Depot locations nationwide, and will be available in building material distributors and other retail outlets beginning in Spring 2014.
